1. Your Privacy

This Privacy Notice defines how Research Middle East FZE (“RME”) uses (collects, stores, uses and

discloses and otherwise uses) your Personal Data (“Personal Data”) and other information described in

this Privacy Notice.

RME respects the privacy rights of its visitors and users (collectively, “Users“, “you” or “your“) and is

committed to protecting Users’ information collected through the services provided by RME (“Service”).

RME has adopted this Privacy Notice to explain how RME collects, stores, and uses information collected

in connection with the Service.






2. Information We Collect & How We Use It

RME may collect and use personal data and certain non-personal data from Users using the Service. This

section of the Privacy Notice will describe the type of information that may be collected and how the

information may be used.

2.1. Personal Data

2.1.1. What is “Personal Data”

“Personal Data” for the purposes of this Privacy Notice means any personally identifiable information

that specifically identifies you as an individual. Personal Data may include your name, address,

telephone number, e-mail address, date of birth, and other similar information

You may make personal data such available to RME when you register on

(“Website”) for the purposes of obtaining Services (an “Account“).

2.1.3. Use of the Service

RME may collect, store and use personal data to optimize use of the Service and the content presented

to Users, to provide technical support and respond to Users’ inquiries.

2.1.4. Other Purposes

Additionally, RME may collect, store, and use personal data such as name, username and email address

to obtain Users’ feedback to help improve the Service and other RME products, inform Users about new

products or promotional material offered by RME or its trusted third party business partners and

affiliates, to detect fraud and abuses of the Service, notify Users about changes to the Service or other

products, provide Users with advertising and marketing material from RME and its trusted business

partners and communicate with Users for other commonly accepted purposes such as notifying them

that they are a potential winner of a contest.

Finally, RME may collect and use personal data as required or permitted by applicable law.

2.1.5. Digital Fingerprinting:

RME may use digital fingerprinting technology to gather certain data about you and/or your computer

or device. This data may include IP address and other data such as a computer operating system or

browser version number. This technology creates a unique computer identifier that may be used for

fraud prevention or to identify and track your participation in a survey or other market research

program and limit participation in accordance with the requirements of a specific survey or other

market research program.

2.1.6. Data Storage

RME may store and/or transfer your personal data outside of UAE in accordance with applicable

legislation and this Privacy Notice.

2.1.7. Third Party Privacy Policies

RME may make available links through advertisements or otherwise enable you to access third party

products or services. While using such products or services, you are using products or services that are

not affiliated with or controlled by RME. RME is not responsible for those people or companies, the

content of their products or services, the use of information you provide to them, or any products or

services they may offer. Providing links or otherwise enabling access to third party products or services

does not constitute sponsorship of, or affiliation with those people or companies. You recognize and

agree that RME is not liable for a third party’s use of your personal data and you should review the

privacy policies of these third parties.

2.1.8. No responsibility for information provided voluntarily

RME is not responsible for any personal data you choose to make public on the Service.

2.1.9. Minors

Users must be eighteen (18) years or older to register for an Account. RME does not knowingly collect

Personal Data from children below the age of 18. If RME becomes aware that RME has inadvertently

collected Personal Data from a child below the age where parental consent is required, RME will delete

such Personal Data from our database.

2.2. Non Personal Data

2.2.1. Definition

For the purpose of this Privacy Notice, “non-personal data” means information that does not directly

identify a User.

2.2.2. Trusted Partners and Contractors

RME may use and disclose to its affiliated companies, contractors or other trusted businesses or persons

the collected non-personal data for the purpose of auditing, researching and analyzing usage of the

Services, ensuring the technical functionality of RME’s Services and to further develop the Services and

other RME products.

2.2.3. Cookies and Beacons

RME may set and access cookies on your computer. A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on

your computer or mobile device when you visit the site. It enables the website to remember your

actions and preferences (such as login, language, font size and other display preferences) over a period

of time, so you don’t have to keep re-entering them whenever you come back to the site or browse

from one page to another.

Cookies are used to provide our system with the basic information to provide the services you are

computer, and you can set most browsers to prevent them from being placed. If you do this, however,

RME may also use web beacons and pixel tags to count Users who have visited certain pages or viewed

certain advertisements. Web beacons, like cookies, do not include personal data. E-mails and other

electronic communications RME sends to you may contain pixel tags that enable RME to track your

usage of the communication, including whether the communication was opened and/or what links were


2.2.4. Google Analytics

When someone visits the Website we use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard

internet log information and details of visitor behavior patterns. We do this to track things such as the

number of visitors to the various parts of the site and interactions with the site. This information is

processed in a way which does not identify anyone. We do not make and do not allow Google to make,

any attempt to find out the identities of visitors to our website.

2.2.5. Mailing Lists

As part of the registration process, we may use your email address to send you our newsletter. You can

unsubscribe to general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

2.2.6. Server Logs

RME’s servers may log information about your use of the Service, such as: (1) your search activity, pages

viewed, the date and time of activity; and (2) any information provided by your computer or mobile

device in connection with your use of the Service, such as your browser type, browser language, IP

address, mobile carrier, unique device identifier, location, and requested and referring URLs.

3. Who We Disclose Personal Data To

3.1. Disclosure of Personal Data

RME will not make your personal data available to any third party without your consent, unless it is

required by law, as further specified below. 

If a survey or other market research program or other activity includes making Personal Data available

to a third party, RME will only share your personal data with your consent. If data collected is used for

statistical modeling to better understand trends and preferences amongst specific groups or audiences

within the general population, only limited personal data shared will be used only for market research

purposes and again only with your consent.

RME may disclose your personal data, profiling data, or other research data to third parties as follows:

 in connection with market research services (including our incentives programs), to our agents,

contractors or partners that facilitate such services; provided, however, such parties are

restricted from using your personal data in any way other than to provide services to RME;

 with agents, contractors or partners of RME in connection with services that these individuals or

entities perform for, or with, RME. These agents, contractors or partners are restricted from

using this information in any way other than to provide services for RME.

 with clients of RME, but in these cases your personal data will only be shared with Clients: i)

with your consent, or ii) for permitted research purposes

 in connection with the request or requirement of any lawful request by public authorities, to

meet national security or law enforcement requirements;

 pursuant to required legal process, to the related compelling party;

 when RME believes that disclosure is necessary or appropriate to prevent physical harm or

financial loss or in connection with suspected or actual illegal activity;

 In connection with the sale, assignment, or other transfer of RME, in which case RME will

require any such buyer to agree to treat personal data in accordance with this Privacy Notice. In

the event that a sale, assignment, or other transfer of RME is not consummated with a

prospective buyer, RME will require the third party not to use or disclose your Personal Data in

any manner whatsoever and to completely erase the same; or as otherwise authorized by you.

RME may license certain limited personal data to third parties (e.g., data brokers, data aggregators, etc.)

for market research purposes, including, but without limitation, the licensing of individual-level and/or

aggregated-level data (e.g., product and/or service purchasing or usage activity, website visitation data,

internet search history, etc.) for the development of audience insights and/or look-alike models, for the

purpose of sale of such data to the third party’s customers for the purpose of performing analytics and

providing marketing intelligence. This information may be shared via a cookie (cookie ID), a mobile

advertising identifier, an email address or other method. After look-alike modeling or aggregation have

been performed, personal data is deleted.

Additionally, identifying information and information collected by automated means may be provided to

third parties, including, without limitation, clients, partners, agents and/or vendors for the purposes of

identifying respondents for re-contact surveys or communications, fraud detection and/or prevention,

database matching, data validation, data append, coding, data segmentation, and reward, incentive,

and/or sweepstakes or promotion related services.

3.2. Data Processing

RME may also disclose personal data to its partners, agent, sub-contractors or such other parties for the

purpose of processing personal data on its behalf. RME ensures that such third parties follow strict

instruction in relation to processing of such data and apply appropriate confidentiality and security


4. Choices for Personal Data

If RME proposes to collect, use or disclose personal data for any purpose other than those described in

this Privacy Notice, RME will obtain the Users’ prior consent or offer the Users an effective way to opt

out of the use of personal data for those other purposes.

Users may select to withdraw their consent in accordance with this Privacy Notice. However, such

withdrawal of consent may affect the Services and Users confirm that they understand that RME may

not be able to provide the same level of Service.

Withdrawal of consent shall be effective from the date RME confirms the receipt of the withdrawal


5. Accuracy and Access/Control over Personal Data

RME processes personal data only for the purposes for which it was collected and in accordance with

this Notice. RME is not responsible for verifying the correctness of personal data.

RME will allow Users to access their personal data in the custody or control of RME, and Users may

request that RME:

1. update personal data

2. correct personal data;

3. change preferences with respect to communications and other information received from RME;

4. withdraw consent to use of personal data, or

5. delete personal data on RME’s primary system, by submitting a request to

RME will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor your request. RME may retain an archived copy

of your records as required by law of for legitimate business purposes. Such updates, corrections,

deletions and changes are only effective as of the date they are made and will not effect other

information that RME maintains (including archived data and other back-ups), or information that RME

has provided to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Notice, prior to such update, correction,

deletion or change.

7. Retention of Personal Data

RME will store Personal Data no longer than necessary for the purpose of the processing activity or as

authorized by you. This period may also be based on RME’s contractual commitments to Users,

applicable periods of limitation (to bring claims) or according to applicable law.

8. Changes to this Notice

RME very much values your opinion and feedback. If you want to review, correct, or delete your
